We rely heavily on donations and the support of our fosters and followers as we are not a 501c3 at this time, hopefully soon!

Founded in 2022, Scales & Tails Exotic Rescue was created in response to the lack of a place for owners of animals in need to turn to. Since then, we have been dedicated to making a positive impact on the community through advocacy, education, and community engagement for exotic animals of all shapes and sizes.

Our team is made up of passionate professionals who are committed to animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehome!
Animals Awaiting Adoption
Tiny is very shy and likes his own space.
But once you spend a little time with him he warms up.
His basking branch is his favorite spot to hang out.
Loves superworms, not a huge fan of greens.
Abby is a 2 year old female ball python. She is friendly, curious and anxiously awaiting her forever home! Might it be yours?
Corky is a male Spider ball python, age unknown. Available soon.
Hunter is like a little puppy! He runs to see his foster to his bugs from her hand. He sleeps in the most adorable positions and has a silly little smile. He knows when his picture is being taken and will always tilt his head for a photo. A bigger fan of basking rather than hiding so he's the kind of reptile who's always on display to be admired.
Gamora is a female. She is very shy, but when comfortable she is an explorer being curious and loves to sight see! She knows when it's food time and she makes sure to tell you when she is ready. Tame and handlable and can tell the difference between food and person.
Athena is a Leopard Gecko. Her foster says she is very shy, she spends most of her time in her hide. However, she doesn’t mind being handled and will hang out with you as much as you want to, but is happy to get back to her hide once you put her back.
Her favorite food so far is crickets.
